What Motorworthy is
A free information service that computes guidance about UK vehicles from public data, DVSA MOT records, DVLA vehicle data and published clean-air zone rules. Verdicts and scores are guidance from public data, not a vehicle inspection, valuation or professional advice.
What you shouldn't rely on us for
A verdict cannot see outstanding finance, write-offs, theft markers, service history or the car in front of you. Never buy a vehicle on a Motorworthy score alone, inspect it, and run a full private-database history check for the specific car.
Accuracy
We work from official datasets that are themselves occasionally wrong or delayed. We correct errors when found but can't guarantee any individual record. Statistics are fleet averages; individual cars vary.
Affiliate links
Some links (history checks, valuations, insurance) pay us a commission if you use them. They're chosen for usefulness, marked where they appear, and never influence a verdict or score.
Fair use
